How to Get Here
By Bus
From Medallin, Bogota, and several other cities around Colombia you can get a flight or a night bus to Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia. From there you transfer by bus or taxi to the Pidecuesta bus station and take the bus towards Los Santos, having it drop you right in front of the Refugio entrance.
If you’re coming from San Gil you can alternately ride the Teleferico and take a local bus that will drop you in front of the Refugio entrance.
By Car or Taxi
Refugio la Roca is situated on the way from Pidecuesta to Los Santos, about a 45 minute drive from Pidecuesta.

Local Attractions
Mercado La Campesina
The mercado is open every day, but has the most vendors on weekends. You can buy fresh, local fruits and veggies, as well as local artisan goods. There are also a variety of bars and restaurants open daily!
Los Santos
The nearby town of Los Santos offers local food, an ATM, and options for both day hikes and treks!
Bucaramanga
The nearest city to Refugio la Roca is Bucaramanga. It’s the capital of the department of Santander, and is known for having many parks and waterfalls.
